Hard water areas require more water to go through the filter and selecting the appropriate head will allow you to set this. Fixed 0% bypasses run everything through the filter, and Fixed 30% bypasses run 70% of water through the filter. We also have a variable 0-70% head that can be set to your exact requirements.
